My position as Sr Operations Manager at GameStop in York, PA was eliminated today. Myself, as well as a number of exceptional team members, were part of the latest GME layoffs. I feel privileged to have worked with such a great team in York. This was a special team of talented people who I will miss. Thank you for the hard work, long hours, creative thinking, and of course the laughs. With that being said, I am Open to Work!

With the layoffs happening in tech and elsewhere the past few months, I wanted to give a shoutout to the most under appreciated group in tech, RECRUITERS. When times are good and business is booming everyone talks about the great technology work, the genius marketing strategy and the super doper futuristic founders and investors but rarely a mention to the people who played a big part in forming these teams. When the times are tough you get the "recruiting teams will be disproportionally impacted" So, thank you for all the work you do and if you are impacted by the layoffs and think I can help you in anyway feel free to reach out #layoffs

Earlier this week, my district was dissolved and my position was eliminated. This was part of a major restructuring at GameStop that impacted a ton of wonderful people. (That includes everyone still working together, in what will be their "new normal.") Change is all around us! I needed a few days to let all my feelings settle. GameStop was such a gigantic part of my life - and what an incredible decade it was! There are countless leaders to thank - too many incredible mentors and partners that supported me along the way. Please don't feel slighted if you're not below - if we crossed paths at GameStop over the years, I likely owe success in my story to you too. To Sarah Daugherty, my best friend and my inspiration - thanks for proving that women can be kickass leaders. To Rod Annet, MBA HR, thanks for giving me my confidence back. Tough love builds a strong foundation. To Joey Harker, thank you for cementing in me that I can lead as myself. Being genuine is so much more fulfilling and impactful than trying to fit a mold. Now that I've celebrated some of the "good" (there's too much to share!) I'm ready to look onward. What's next?! I'm looking for a role where I can: -Stay local to Richmond, VA or work remotely -Manage communications and project planning -Work with data -Be your operations strategy wizard -Or...who knows?
